Spinnaker properties are mostly pretty nice, and near downtown.

The only decent sized complexes i can think of that are close to Sikorsky are the 2 Avalon complexes in Shelton. If you don't want an apartment that is in a multi-family, then i'd suggest finding a rental agent. They can probably help you find nearby condo's for rent in complexes like Heather Ridge(Shelton) or Tudor Ridge and Far Mill(Both just up the road from Sikorsky, in Stratford).

I have set up a viewing appointments for Spinnaker apartments in Milford, Wintergreen of Westville in New Haven, Residence AT NINTH SQUARE & Ardenwood in North Haven, SoundView at Savin rock in West Haven, and Town Walk in Hamden. These locations all seem to have what were looking for (Based on their websites) as far as amenities, square footage and a apartment types. Any opinions on these locations?

VERY different areas.

Spinnaker is downtown Milford and in a safe walkable coastal community, but not quite urban. Wintergreen is similar, in a nice little part of New Haven - but it's separated from the rest of New Haven by some lesser areas. Ninth Square is a very cool area, very urban, right in downtown New Haven with all the culture, activity and grit you'd expect. Having a car might be an extra challenge.

Town Walk and Ardenwood are in very suburban areas, not walkable. But safe. There's a small amount of nightlife in Hamden, but a lot of it caters to Quinnipiac U students. There is barely any nightlife in North Haven, you'd be counting on New Haven for a social scene.

Soundview at Savin Rock - you might get water views if you're lucky, and the beaches are nice west of there. It's in an OK section of West Haven, but north of there is fairly dumpy. West of there is very nice into Milford. You can walk to a few things, but not much - and for nightlife and social needs you'd be counting on Milford or New Haven.

For someone your age, I'd recommend Spinnaker and Ninth Square out of those. Westville a close 3rd. I wouldn't even consider the others personally.
