Default Living in CT working in NYC tax question

We are moving to CT next year and my husband has had a few job offers in NYC. Can anyone tell me what happens as far as paying income taxes on the salary he earns in NYC whilst living in CT? Does he pay NYC taxes or CT taxes or both?

Thank you in advance.

He will pay New York State Income Tax which is credited toward his Connecticut State Income Tax. He does not have to pay New York City Income Tax. Jay

JayCT thanks, this sheds a whole new light on my husband working in NYC, I think he will probably look for job offers in CT first.

Thanks again
