The Census Bureau has released population estimates for 2018. Connecticut lost about 1,200 residents since last year's estimate. The second links goes to a page with downloads for spreadsheets.

This is only an estimate and the real answer to the state's population will come in the next census in 2020. Hard to believe but that is only a little over a year away. Jay

Every decade. That will not stop. Ct will lose an elector per most projections after 2030 census; NY will lose 2 in 2020 census.

In years past this would have been great for Republicans. Not so anymore. I guess Texas. Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina will gain seats. As we saw with the recent gubernatorial races in FL and GA it could go either way.

Except it only truly is one way influential for POTUS, Texas, GA, SC, NC = solid red

Florida has been a toss up.
