Hello everyone

I'm moving from Harrison,NJ to CT or MA next in July .

I'm still looking for a nice place less than 30 min by the car to Springfield, MA where i gonna work at BMC.

I'm married without children and i dont have plan to have any in the near future , so i dont care too much about good school >

My perfect place would be:
-safe (most imp thing )
-Restaurants , cafes , Gyms , shoping ,in walkable distance or with public transport since my wife don't drive.
-30 or less by car to Springfield.
-Controlled access building with gym

I was considering West Hartford , CT + Enfield , CT and Northampton, MA.

Any suggestion ??

I am not sure you would be able to get from West Hartford to Springfield in 30 minutes. They are about 30 to 40 miles apart depending on where you live and where you work and some of those roads have a good amount of traffic to slow you down. Enfield would be a closer choice but it does not have the walkable area you desire.

Northampton is about 20 miles from Springfield so it may be doable in 30 minutes but it will likely be more on some days. The Forest Park section of Springfield is nice as is Longmeadow. I am not sure about apartments in these areas so you should post your question on the Massachusetts board for more answers. Jay

Why not just live in Massachusetts? We in CT are wonderful people, but what makes you want to live in this state??
