People who were priced out of here/couldn't hack it here, that moved elsewhere and are still unhappy so want to vent their frustrations?
Or maybe its people that want to help people avoid the same mistakes they did, when there are MUCH better options then CT available in the New England area....

Seeing that the majority of said posts are about people complaining rather than helping, I'd go with basehead's assessment.
If you're going to live in a state that's murderously expensive, go for the gold: California. At least California is expensive and warm whereas Connecticut, on the other hand, is expensive and cold. It's really a no-brainer, IMO.
Resorting to the weather.... Yawn. Arizona weather is not fit for human consumption.
It's a bit ironic that the longest life expectancies are located in cold to temperate locales as opposed to the tropics. Japan, Scandinavia, New England (within the US).

Not if you have kids and need good public schools.
And check out our average temperatures over the course of a year. It's really only "cold" between late November and late March.
So with both of those, I'll take Connecticut, thanks.

I like both states, but it's apples and oranges. At this point, you're just trolling...

The lack of moisture will wear you out as well, especially if you're used to moist, humid conditions. Dry conditions are much worse for your skin, hair, nails, joints, respiratory system, etc. than humid conditions.Last Saturday, it literally felt as though someone flipped a switch and turned on a blast furnace. I've never felt anything like before in my life, and I've spent three summers in FL.*At least in FL you can cool off in either the ocean or in a pool; in AZ, there is no ocean.
Sounds like that blast furnace fried your brain. You've already let everyone know multiple times that you have never lived in Ct and that you do not know much about it at all so your trolling is just a waste of bandwidth.
It's difficult to quantify qualitative values. How do you value free concerts, museums, excellent food, hiking, kayaking, proximity to mountains, oceans, major cities....? What dollar amount can be assigned to any of those? Yet for many people having those amenities available makes it worth living in CT even when they disagree with some or all of the politics/financials/infrastructure of CT.

Did I ever say I was planning on living in AZ for my entire life? If you read more of my posts, you would have learned that I want to enroll in an MHA program after graduating from the U of A next spring. Unfortunately, there are no accredited MHA programs in AZ; I will have to move out-of-state for graduate school.
I always thought people from CT were mean. You just reinforced that for me. Have a good day.
