I wanna know some places to metal detect before i buy a metal detector.

it depends what you are looking for? Coins and jewelry at a beach. Change after an event. Or old coins and artifacts that can be found in the ground of Southern New England? Those who seek out the latter will not give up that info to anyone. That is because you have to do your own research as to where an encampment or battle took place. Where an old garbage dump, pre 20th century, might be. Many items still lie in the ground waiting to be found. I have scanned old church grounds, railroad stations, homes, etc. In fact, around my own home I found large cents from the early 1800's. Around my trees there were indian cents and liberty head nickels of the date the trees were planted. A common practice at one time. Do the research and enjoy the fun of metal detecting.
