Hi,

I am having such a hard time find a good preschool in Stamford or Norwalk area. My daughter will be 3 in April 08. Any suggestion?

Thanks,
rw

Default Roxbury Nursery School

My 3 year old son is at Roxbury Nursery School in Stamford and he loves it! The teachers are experienced and nurturing. The structure is play-based, with many creative crafts and activities. At Halloween and Christmas the kids put on a music program for the parents. At Thanksgiving the kids had a pow-wow during class complete with costumes they made, musical instruments, songs and food. So far, the kids have worked on colors, shapes and senses. I also liked that I could pick which 3 days I wanted my son to attend for the 3s program. I moved to Stamford from NYC and enjoy the friendly atmosphere that Roxbury Nursery School has. I highly recommend the school.

There is an open house Feb 7, 2008 from 9:30am till 11:30am.
The phone number is 968-0768 and the director is Millary Morton.

We loved the Marvin School (run by Bright Horizons). It's school readiness funded for Norwalk residents.
