Hello...
I currently live in Waterbury and I drive the Mixmaster everyday. However, most of my friends are scared of I and when I gone with them around Waterbury, they make me drive all around. I am fine driving it...do you think it is dangerous?

What part of it? It's not ideal, but avoiding it like that seems a little extreme. Are they a little naive/immature in general?

The I-84 East/West Bridge. I'll admit, it can get scary at rush hour because the whole bridge violently shakes when there is a traffic stop. But, Indid it for the last 8 years, didn't die yet!

While I don't drive it everyday, I've passed it on many a trip to Hartford and I didn't find it any more dangerous than similar setups in NYC or LA. But then again, I know of people who avoid driving on limited-access highways period.....

There are some horrifying interchanges/on-ramps in NYC. Makes Waterbury look easy.

The mixmaster is pretty terrible if you have to exit from 84 west onto 8 in either direction during evening rush hour. I think it's tolerable otherwise.

I don't travel it too much during busy hours, so I don't think much of it. There are many times of the day that I wouldn't cross from the Rte 8 entrance to the Chase Parkway exit off 84, however. Honestly though, lately the ride around Exit 27 in Naugatuck is scarier than the mix master.

Hate it. Yes dangerous. Not sure when the bridges were last checked.
