try Swan Cove Inn, Historic Mansion Inn, Torch of Ireland Guest House, Farnam Guest House- all in New Haven.
All rated very highly.

All can be found at Google-with ratings, pictures and more-good luck!

The only B&B I know of in MIlford is the Lily Pad which is downtown.
