Forget newark, Phili has more than burlington. Do you know how little snow phili averages per winter? Only 19 inches! http://www.erh.noaa.gov/phi/reports/snowfalltables.html

Newark averages 28 inches which is a huge difference

And Bridgeport & NYC more snow than Fairbanks or Fargo or Denver.

Here's 24hr Minimum Wind Chill forecast. Another cold night/morning and then we finally moderate.

I don't remember the last time seeing a snowpack here in March which has been on ground since about Feb 3rd.

Max temps Saturday.

Before I forget, I've been meaning to post this.. Danbury's actual temps and normals November-February.

Use link to see other locations and months.

IEM :: Site Info: DXR DANBURY MUNICIPAL

What stands out real quick are the 2 warm ups in December, the long January thaw, and the single digit lows.

What do we need to do around here to get seasonal temps back? I didn't sign up to hibernate in a freezer all March.

Nothing on tap huh? Wow as great as February was.... March looks awful. Not even a rain storm so far.

It has been so cold I am celebrating the possibility of "normal" temps on Saturday. The 40s sound wonderful right now. I am holding out hope that I will one day see my yard again.

Something is changing. For the first time today I saw a Cardinal and other birds singing and flapping around my backyard and woods. I've also been seeing a lot of deer out in the open searching for food to replenish themselves. The cold has to break soon enough.

weather.com has rain/snow mix for southeast CT next Wednesday, and then snow showers for Thursday of next week, while central CT is listed as snow showers for both days.
