What will really be interesting is that despite the several inches of snow today we might get (maybe 2 to 4 in some areas)....and the 2 to 6 inches we had a few days ago....the Tri-State might still end up with another "green Christmas" ?

Based on the coming warming trend after today, temps should rise by a fair margin each day...reaching the mid/upper 40's by the end of the week. NWS said Friday was supposed to be the warmest day - now they are predicting we might hit 55 to 60 F on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how much snow is left after this weekend. This up/down in snow/melting has really got to be hurting the struggling ski places in the Tri-State area:

Let me tell ya... if ONE bus skids off the road and into a tree, its worth closing the schools. Besides that in the new world, there is massive liability if something happens during a snowstorm. Its not the 1970's anymore.

BDR has 270% more snow than normal to this point. That means more than double the amount of normal snowfall has fallen. Classic start and more for BDR today.
