Quite a storm last night. Don't see wind like that very often around here. Many branches down?

Was windy. Big storm over Great Lakes pushing a front across. I'll post todays temp map in a bit. We had morning lows similar to mid June or September.

2pm temps were 15-30 above norm in the Northeast.

70s made it up into the Hudson Valley and areas of NY. Syracuse hit 72! BDL the highest for CT at 66°. Warm November day that lasted 2 days? See behind all this? Snowing and cold.

Is that weird green "island" of 50s just south of Buffalo due to all the snow cover?

The Northeast is going into a mess on Wednesday. Snow all day on the busiest travel day of the year. My NY Weather Thread is also surviving so far .

And you can see why I hesitate creating storm threads. lol Although it is nice and easy to look back on them by just find the thread itself.

Warm Sunday-Monday after cold night tonight and cold tomorrow.

Watch after the 8th for another big storm. The more these happen the higher the chances we get a big snowstorm now that we enter the cold months. Not that they cant happen in October but conditions are better next 3 months.

I have to think the squirrels knew why they buried a ton of things. I am still assuming a long snowpack coming.

Meanwhile... 16th warmest year at BDL so far. LOL
11th warmest for BDR.

So hard to believe for some reason.

Those temperature averages are quite questionable in light of an extremely cold Jan-March and unusually cool summer (I did not break 90 degrees). Can we trust but verify against additional sources.
