Is that snow from the back end of the current low? I'm also hearing of an Alberta Clipper passing through Sunday night south of us, and another Nor'Easter Monday night.

Holy Beejesus.

Canadian. 972mb Low off the coast there Tuesday morning? See where the thick lines are now? THATS a winter storm. Thin blue line is the surface temps, that's fine. Thicker lines are the air aloft. So freezing line much more off the coast which means colder for us.

What the heck happened. I thought they all said stays south just yesterday? LOL. I bet you todays storm had something to do with it? I read Atmosphere has memory and sometimes takes the same path if storms aren't far apart.

The snow bullseye is RI and Eastern MA here but still shows 5-8" for CT Monday night-Tues Morning. 12"+ for the capes.

At this pace JP03 and Wilton2Park will be firing me. LOL

That was the new Canadian. Here's the new Euro just out. Big NorEaster. 850 temps cold. 981mb low of NJ coast. (similar spot as this mornings storm!)

Not throwing ratios out there yet.. way too early but this implies normal-fluff snows.

LOL...we cant fire you..yer the best man we got!

But its a good lesson to me in not over thinking current trends as pre-cursors for entire seasons. Like they say about New England weather..ever changing.

. Obviously amounts are just possibilities but look what the Euro shows!

Danbury: 1.89" qpf
Providence: 1.81" qpf With Temps in the teens/20s!

Do the math with 12:1 ratios. 12 x the qpf amount.

Have to see the snow maps when they load but this might of been a 15-30" snowstorm from NYC to Boston
