Yeah and we would be booming with the blooms with the rain if the 60s kept up. Landscape will have to wait a bit more. We caught up a little but still a week or so behind normal blooms

0.61" of rain this month at BDR so far is the driest April on record, but over 1.50" could fall tomorrow so there goes that

Default Snow Totals 2014-15

Top CT & RI Snow totals for 2014-15 Season.

WBAN = the main Climo sites, ie: BDL, BDR, PVD, BOS, ect
COOP and CocoRaHS are sometimes sketchy as they don't report with each storm but most are good

I see West Glocester, RI with 121.5". NW Side near CT border.

Staffordville, CT the winner with 100.7"

Here's MA

Long Island, NYC, Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties.

How about Maine and places like PWM, a.k.a. The Portland Jetport? List would probably include Lewiston, Augusta and Bangor. I've lived in southern Maine twice, myself (Wells and Old Orchard Beach).

About 45 here in New Britain at 7:30 AM. What a difference compared to Saturday and Sunday! Can we have the warmth back?

Now imagine 45° till like 1pm. Thurs-Fri-Sat. Maybe sunless most of time. We'll see.

Current Wind Chills, Radar, and Satellite.

0.35" in my rain gauge. Steady Rain here and feels like 37°F with East wind.

Did anyone factor in the wind chills for this upcoming cold snap? lol

1.60" in the rain gauge. Still raining. Back edge was in NYC over an hour ago.

Landscape is loving this. Grass is vivid green and lush now

Paul Pastelok discusses whats coming. Severe weather shifts south because of the ULL.

Snow pack "increases" in Canada and will feel like Winter.

We do get a break but, maybe another ULL coming in after May 4th?

No consistent Spring pattern yet for the Northeast.

NAO was positive for months now dives negative and blocking just slowing things down now.
