I might be going to North Haven tomorrow - near North Haven Memorial Library - from Old Saybrook. I'll be leaving around 5pm, so it will be in the midst of rush hour.

Would it be better for me to go into New Haven and then take 91 North into North Haven, or else get off of 95 in Guilford and take 22 through Guilford and North Branford? My guess is this way will be better?

Any other routes?

Thanks

I'd get off 95 in Guilford and take 22. It's not much further and it's a pretty nice ride. 95s approaching the bridge can be slow mostly due to sun glare at that time, and 91 N during rush hour can be tough.

RT 22 is the easiest and less miles.

22 is good, although 91 north is rarely backed up in my experience in New Haven. Not sure about 95 into New Haven at that time as I never drive that at rush hour.

Thanks - I think I'll just take 22 through Guilford & North Branford, as I haven't had good luck going through New Haven the last several times.
