So I have a permit for Greenwich town recycling.. however I was looking at the site and it says no out of town batteries.. well these came from a bus and for those that know batteries they are 8D group sized which means they are 154 Lbs each.. I took them off a friend to see if I could condition them however before I could complete that he ended up just getting rid of the bus.. so now I'm not sure what I can do now with them since they are taking up a bunch of space.

Some scrapyards take them, but I'm not familiar with your area.

Take them to Rubino bros scrap yard in Stamford. They will pay you per pound for the lead in them. If you really want to donate them and let someone else cash in on your fortune most auto parts places will take them.
