The problem with the Tyson property is that it is pretty ugly for a mansion. Not sure why it was built that way but man does this place scream 80's. That is why other upscale properties sell and this one sits. Jay

Don't forget that Connecticut, like other New Egland states, have 4 different seasons. Here you could actually tell what time of year we are in. It's beautiful in the summer, spring, fall, and winter. It makes life seem interseting, and not just the same thing year around.

I live in Fairfield County (southwest Connecticut) about 40 minutes outside of NYC. The pace in this area of Connecticut (from about New Haven and west) is very quick - quicker than most parts of California and most larger cities in the country. People here are aggressive drivers who travel about 20mph over the limit regularly, as soon as the light turns green you have to gun it or you risk getting waved at with the wrong finger (that's AFTER they honk at you). It happens all the time.
In downtown Stamford, people walk about as quickly as Manhattan natives do - and it's not just the cold weather because people do it in summer too. The other day, I got an apple pie from McDonald's and at the second window, the guy was holding my bag out the window so I can roll right by. People are very swift and efficient down here - they don't slow down for much and if they have to, they aren't happy.
The same cannot be said for the Hartford area. While the pace is quicker than the average American city, compared to LA it's probably about the same, if not a little slower paced.

the pace is considerablt slower a mere 20 miles east of Hartford. Believe me I have spent much time (lived in SF Bay area-and L.A) Hartford is much slower paced.

Hi! I am going to be vacationing out in Westport with my grandma this summer, and she loves Paul Newman. I told her he lives out there and she'd like to see his house. Can you tell me the address if possible? I know it would make her so happy.

I have it and every other property owners'. My data shows a Santa Monica, California, address for him as well.
I don't believe that it should be shared in a public forum. If you go to the Westport Assessor's office, you can get access to it, too.

Paul Newman is associated with the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, which is in Northeast Connecticut. It is a camp for children with terminal and other serious illnesses.

What would I search under at the Westport Assessor's office? And is it something you could email to me?
