We have been looking at condos/apartments in the Naugatuck, Chesire, Oxford, and surrounding areas for my fiance and I (no kids and we plan to move before kids would be in school so that is not a factor). While seeing an apartment in Naugatuck's Lantern Park our realtor mentioned there was a foreclosure just listed and we got to see it. In Lantern Park, 3 bedroom, 1.5 baths, 1092 sq ft 40k. The major home mods would be kitchens and .5 bath everything else is pretty intact and just cosmetic.
There are are two registered sex offenders in the condominiums. Low crime according to Trulia. But there are a good amount for sale and two others in foreclosure.

A little concerned on the overall outlook for Naugatuck?

The housing market in general is kind of hard to predict but what do most people think - up and coming or keep depleting in value?
