Oh for Pete Sake .. stop this thread.. CT is what it is.. Our traffic is what it is.. stop thinking how inconvenient it is FOR IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVERS that can't wake up earlier and DRIVE THE DARN LEGAL LIMIT..just quit it..

Or better yet - complainers can go invent a Jetson's car that will really work.

Headed to Bridgeport this morning to price out a job...North was nice but dreaded coming back.

9-10am Westport and Fairfield views.

Funny thing is, I left Bridgeport at 10:30am and didn't think to take Merrit so I got stuck in it. (yes, it was still there!!) Stop, go, 20mph, stop......go a little....stop....wait... roll eyes more.

Well today's traffic was pretty brutal I thought from Stamford to Norwalk.

I Left Westchester at 5:45 Google maps showed Merritt and 95 were a horror so I took 684-84-rate 34 to avoid it. Zero traffic, even at 18 more miles I still made it home earlier than if I took the other 2. I don't enjoy a longer ride but at least it was moving.

Before realizing that was a picture from your mirror I thought, "are you in the UK?" LOL! (i.e cars going on the "wrong" side of the highway)

Traffic has been increasingly worse over the past month, even in the mornings now. Now it takes 40 minutes to get to work from Norwalk to Stamford (just 9 miles) and also takes 40 minutes to get home.

Unbelievable.

This is by far the worst place to live in the United States. Congested. Expensive. Boring. Terrible infrastructure. I wouldn't even buy a home for $50K here if I could.

I can't wait to move out this summer. Biggest mistake of my life. Get me OUT of here!

True dat!!

I could NEVER live in lower FFC for the COL and traffic alone! That would be the same amount of pain as having a 15 deg colder average year round temperature.

Its bad enough for traffic in the Hartford area.
