Former Gov. Rowland under investigation for corruption | WTNH

Maybe it's time for former Governor Rowland to bid a retreat from the public eye? Or better yet, stop committing felonies?

Perhaps innocent until proven guilty? Wow, good thing you're not a prosecutor...

I'm sure you give most previous felons the benefit of the doubt, right?

He has a history of corruption. He's being investigated for corruption. I'm not 100% that he did it, but, reading the article, it sure doesn't look good.

There are definitely shenanigans on both sides of the aisle, but, you've got to have a real problem to be caught twice. Even Buddy Cianci only went to prison once.

Just wondering if we still think the former Guv is an innocent victim....

On the other hand, I have trouble justifying jail time for this kind of thing. Will the Foleys do time or pay a fine and enjoy their wealth?

Of course you're right, he's guilty. Maybe he'll get a cell right next to Leland Yee

If I was in California, I guess I'd care about Leland Yee...

I don't believe one party is more corrupt than the other-- They're both corrupt. Regardless, I think it's worthy of note when a former Governor is about to go to jail for the second time.

If he's guilty, they need to throw the book at him. He's pathological.

As in "Hard to Believe-- He wouldn't do that" or "Hard to Believe that anyone would be so careless/thoughtless/feel so entitled?"

Either he's guilty or the WIlson/Foley's are implicating him over $35K they misappropriated-- But all evidence seems to point to the fact that they were all in it together.

I just can't believe they all thought it was worth a lousy 35K. Didn't Rowland get paid well by the City of Waterbury and then WTIC?
