Husband and I are going to the concourse Elegance car show and would like recommendations on a hotel/motel not too expensive under $200 a night. The hotel where the event is being held is booked.Thanks. I am also checking out Travelocity and hotels.com.

J House is a cool spot if you're looking for something that has character. They have a nice bar and restaurant and outdoor deck with a good nightlife scene, if that's your kind of thing. $219/night.

It's about 5 miles east of the event.

Probably not. Not many hotels in Greenwich. Hyatt is probably the best for price. Hilton Westchester is fairly close too.

If you can rent a car why not just pay $60 a night at Hilton Stamford on Priceline?

I Live on LI and we are driving to Connecticut. Looks like the Hilton or the Hampton Inn is the closest. The hotel hosting the event is booked and that is like 2 minutes from the car show. Thanks for all the suggestions. Going to decide tonight between the two hotels.

Which hotel is hosting the event, the Delamar? That hotel is about 400/night. The only other hotels in Greenwich are the Hyatt and J House, both of which are cheaper than the Delamar. They're both in eastern Greenwich, about a 10 min drive down the Post Rd (or just hop on 95 south two exits). Your only other options are B&Bs. Here's a link to one in central Greenwich: Stanton House Inn - Historical Bed and Breakfast - Greenwich, CT
