Lakeridge is a super easy commute to Waterbury. The complex itself is outside of town but it 's 5-10 mins from 3-4 grocery stores, Target, BB&B, Walgreen's, Panera...plus more upscale options in Avon/Canton less than 30 mins away.

The complaints I have always heard are that the units are expensive to heat and the common fees are high - but it is an older neighborhood so neither of those facts are terribly surprising. I would have no problem renting there.

Depending on where in Waterbury he is working that commute could be kind of long. It's roughly half an hour, but that doesn't account for any traffic he might hit if he has to go on I-84.

I believe these units have electric heat and given their age (and poor insulation), it can be expensive to heat. That is why they recommend going with kerosene for heating. It is your call if this is going to be an issue but it is not necessarily something I would like to deal with. Jay
