I finally heard back from my friend, and she said the 25 mile trip from her home in Danbury to her office at Pepsi in Somers takes her anywhere from 40 minutes to 90 minutes. This is a woman that also says she makes a regular drive from Stamford to Hartford in an hour or less, so it's not like she drives slowly.

However, looking at the map of Danbury, her home is in eastern Danbury, which would be the furthest away from Somers.

This is typical traffic @ 5:30PM on a Friday. Not too bad, with yellow meaning slow, red meaning stop & go, and green is moving obviously.
