Colony Grill, Fairfield is my favorite. Not really a fan of Pepe's. Although the dough/crust is pretty good, the red sauce is not outstanding, nor does it compliment the crust. I've had much better in NY.

Which Pepe's though? I ask because Fairfield really is utterly disappointing. Needs new management. Pronto.

I prefer Kashi frozen pizza. They have less fat content than the crap you get a pizza places.

I know i'm repeating myself, but i dislike the taste/texture of Cutrufello's cheeses, which is what Salerno's uses. Too bad. The calzone as Salerno's can feed 2.

i'd have to go with Other 'New Haven style'. haven't had Pepe's recently enough and i never got a chance to try Sally's. Modern was Ok but not my favorite. places i do like - DaVinci's, Joey Garlic's, Luna's and a few mom and pop's like Cucina's in Niantic, John and Maria's in E Haven.

John & Maria's is awesome. I used to live in Thompson Gardens West, and worked at one point for the town engineer. I handed them their building permit before they opened and became a loyal customer following their first day in business, til we moved out of town 11 years later.

Better than anything in the Danbury area, just not quite as good as the original location. More consistent than Fairfield.
