So there are a total of 6 "high end" cars registered to Milford residents. Sounds about right to me. Not many.

Probably from other towns, maybe they keep their boats docked in Milford.

Exactly, among other reasons. People do venture beyond their own town. The 458 I saw belongs to an Orange resident, for instance. Have seen a Carrera GT, SLS AMG, McLaren MP4-12C, among others in downtown Milford - I never assumed they lived there either. No need to be snobby/petty.

Exactly. Reading some posts I was shaking my head. People do "drive" outside where the car is registered. LOL!! I've seen exotics in Milford in my roundabouts.

I kinda figured/assumed that from the Greenwich frame on the plates. Thinking he lives in New Hampshire and came down to Greenwich to purchase?

First of all, I am not being snobby by saying Milford does not have a lot of high end vehicles. It is what it is and I don't appreciate the personal attack. I also don't believe Orange has a lot of high end cars. Woodbridge, maybe.

Personally I think people claiming there are a lot of high end cars in downtown Milford are trying to paint a picture that isn't accurate. Especially seeing their posting history regarding the town on this forum. JMO.

In addition to the marinas and boat docks (possibly for exotic car owners from landlocked towns), there are $1M homes in Milford on the beaches.

There are also trailer parks and numerous questionable neighborhoods. Lets stop making Milford out to be a wealthy enclave. It's a middle class suburb. Period.

Surprised there are more high-end cars in New Canaan than Westport. Thought the latter was a much flashier town in general. Also surprised so many in Wilton, which I see as more of a Porsche Cayenne lacrosse dad-type town.

Wilton/Weston are also a bit more old money/reserved in style. That said my rear neighbor is the McLaren owner, and also owns a Subaru and Suburban for daily driving.
