Oh, there's one that roams around in Newtown as well. A rare sight, indeed! Saw a Ferrari on Route 25 the other day, too, over the Monroe/Trumbull border.

Now, if you saw a McLaren P1, that's a different story! There's supposed to be a fancy car event thing in WeHa I believe next month.

Whoa! Yeah P1 smoked the Vette on the straight aways but noticed it really had to slow down for the turns.

Noticed an Old Vette on the track too. lol

While the P1 made the Corvette look like it wasn't even hitting the gas, I'm not sure about who was driving the Corvette.. I mean look at 1:20 when the P1 smoked the Vette. 125mph top speed??? And notice there was a pause at 90mph. It had room to get to 150 mph at least (ZR1 Top speed is about 200mph) but the driver should of pushed it harder right after the turn. Finished the turn at 1:18 was at 100mph at 1:24. Then another 4 seconds just 20mph more? Horrible.

Was the guy not flooring it? Was he not downshifting enough? Did the P1 have nitrous?

Then watch at the end 3:40 guess he tried to push it too much and didn't make the turn and veered off track a bit, or wasn't a good driver?

Cool race though. I'd personally want a car that can handle turns but need the speed of an open straight

There was a P1 at Caffeine and Carburators in New Canaan, next to a 918, LaFerrari, and Pagani Huarya (sp?).

Don't know about West Hartford, but there's a cars and coffee gaining steam in Milford. Last time I went there was a nice assortment of exotics and classics.

I have been seeing a LOT of RS7s around the Fairfield County area.

This particular one at Super Duper Weenie then he let his 17 year old son drive it! :

That Mclaren is probably an older gentleman with NH plates. He basically daily drives it during the summer as I pass him all the time on the Merritt.

I have to admit.. in my travels I'm seeing more hot cars (meaning sporty) and awesome colors (meaning not plain gray, maroon or white).

Is that what happens when gas prices are low"er", and you been saving more for years with a bouncing back economy? Everyone wants a sports car now (better than those damn boats on the road!!)

Or maybe its a generation thing that they miss their hot rods?

Or maybe just maybe car companies finally got it right cause I'm seeing some awesome styles now (like the Charger and Camero, Wow)
