I would say about 50% of the time in the Hartford area, the exotics on the road have dealer or repair plates. This is one reason why I thought spotting a Ferrari and Lambo on they same day was unusual because both cars had private plates.

I have also seen a white Lambo on the Berlin Trpke not sure if it's the same one I saw in Vernon.

I had the good fortune of spotting an orange Lambo on the Mass Pike last year. Not sure what model it was, but it was a convertible. It was moving too fast for me to get a good look at it.

The guy from the TV show "chasing classic cars" has a Ferrari outside his shop sometimes in Portland.

There is/was a rental place in Waterbury that rented fast cars, but I think they rent(ed) mostly Corvettes and Porches.

The trouble with those kinda of cars is actually enjoying them around CT. It's not like you're going to dinner in that and going to park on the street lol. Agree much more common in FFC where valet parking is in greater availability.
Actually, people do park them in the street. In the evenings, especially during the warmer months, you can walk through Bedford Street or the last stretch of Summer Street with its concentration of restaurants; and you will actually see exotic cars parked right next to 'normal' cars right on the curb. Often times the owners even leave their roof down. The more interesting aspect is that in downtown Stamford there is always a mix of people from different social levels and people with exotic cars experience no more problems than those with 'normal' cars parked on the street.

We can always tell who's not from the area, because those type of people like to take photos in front of those cars or their kids are visibly impressed.

I came across this table in the Hartford Courant. Not sure when it was published, but it's fun to play around with.

Connecticut's Cars: Practical And Predictable - Courant.com

For example, there are 457 registered Ferrari's in CT of which 93 are in Greenwich.

Many high-line cars like Ferrari's in CT have out of state registration to avoid car tax.

Also, many higher end cars (even down to C Class Mercedes) are leased, not purchased.

Nice link.

I'm surprised to see Tesla/Ferrari/Maserati registrations in my town. LOL.

More Ferrari's in Danbury and Hartford than Fairfield, Darien, or New Canaan? Or did you not include Fairfield.
