Not really sure about that list - it seems to give more points to the percentage of students that take AP tests than actually pass AP tests. 100% of students at Amistad Academy take AP tests, but 26% pass - that's great compared to other high schools in New Haven, but not great statewide when schools like Conard & Hall in West Hartford have over 50% of the senior class passing AP exams.

Something wrong with this list--- Stamford, Westhill and Greenwich are ahead of Hand, Wilton and Darien? Way off base. Why is % receiving free/reduced lunch a factor in that model? Holy data massage.

Amistad Academy at #4? All these lists are painfully flawed.

Objective criteria only--- test scores (CAPT/SAT/AP), student/teacher ratios, with a behavioral incident overlay. Weston, Wilton, Staples, New Canaan, Avon, Conrad would top the list.

I know Canton has great schools, but to see them above New Canaan, Darien, Avon, Simsbury, and Glastonbury is pretty surprising. I know that Glastonbury and Avon are both considered to have excellent school systems, so I am a bit surprised to see them that low.
