Messed up. At close quarters a knife is just as deadly as a gun.

I've heard it was scissors, but yeah...wow...unbelievable and sad.

Horrified and saddened that this can happen, reportedly over a declined prom invite. Prayers for all those left grieving today.

Very sad for the girl's family and friends. Thankfully this seems like an isolated incident and not random from what I have read so far.

Hopefully Milford will postpone the junior prom, which is scheduled to be held tonight, considering their school is an active crime scene.

I think they already made the decision to do so.

Clarification, Milford High School was the original school in the center of town. Jonathan Law serves the West side of Milford and Joseph A. Foran serves the East. Town is split down the middle almost with 3 middle schools (Westshore, Eastshore, and Harborside). Harborside kids like myself got split down the middle so I lost a lot of friends going to HS.

Still sad and insanely messed up.

One of the news articles linked a youtube video of her singing. Quite lovely.

How unbelievably tragic. Poor, unfortunate child. Can't imagine the grief her family is going through.
