Default Alternative Medicine Options in CT?

We are considering a move to CT. We are looking at towns like Easton, Westport, Cos Cob and some others. My question is I have a chronic nerve condition that I have been successful in minimizing pain by the use of alternative medical doctors (i.e. acupuncture, reflexology, herbalist).

Is there an area or areas in CT that have reputable services such as these, or would I find it hard to obtain this kind of help?

Thank you for your input.

In New Canaan there is a Naturopathic Medicine Natural Health & Wellness Center, which offers homeopathy / botanical medicine / lifestyle modifications / dietary supplements/ nutrition/ naturopathic manipulation and counseling.

You might also check the Connecticut Holistic Health Association http://www.cthha.org/

Also the Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center http://www.yalegriffinprc.org/imc/index.php3

hope this helps.

I've heard good things about the White Oak Center - they're based in Stamford & Norwalk, both within a convenient distance from the places you're considering. Try www.whiteoakmedical.com

Thank you both very much. I am reading the website and it is exciting to know that if this move happens I won't have to sacrifice the comfort that I have come to know. At least I have a place to start.

Much appreciated!
