Just wondering which way our group here on CD is leaning. Just for fun....

Ps I set the poll up to allow multiple votes for the different scenarios

I'm either voting for Foley or Pelto - definitely not Malloy.

Wait, who is Pelto? I did not include him/her in my poll. Sorry!

Lately I have been changing my mind. I think I will vote for Malloy. Republicans and conservatives have destroyed the state and I refuse to give them the keys to the state capitol.

According to RealClearPolitics, Malloy is projected to win the gubernatorial race this year. RealClearPolitics accurately predicted EVERY state correctly in the 2012 presidential election, based on polling data, so they're totally reliable.

I think you were looking at the no toss ups map. Real Clear is calling CT a toss up as of right now. See this link instead... RealClearPolitics - 2014 Election Maps - 2014 Governor Races

I will NEVER vote for a northern liberal. That being said, I am completely sick of politicians. I feel more like Dr. Gordon in the 2004 psychological horror film "Saw" than I do a Free Man in the United States of America.

Yes, I'm aware of that. But 95% of the time, even if it's a toss up with a slight edge to whoever winning, that person will win anyway. That's how it played out in the 2016 general election. I believe Malloy will be re-elected and I plan to vote for him, even though I voted for Foley the first time.

2016 election is 2 years away Anyway CT is not leaning one way or the other, so no one has a slight edge as of right now per Real Clear. Anyway, we'll have a better idea soon enough. Btw, Surprised you voted for foley last time

Yes, but like I said, even when it's a toss up, one of the candidates still has a TINY, slight edge, and 95% of the time, that candidate ends up winning anyway. So, if the election is just four months from now, I believe Malloy will win. With every passing generation, the Republican party goes further into the grave. They are losing America demographically and culturally. They have certainly lost me. I used to be a staunch conservative, even just a year ago. Now I'm a hardcore progressive and would never go back. The entire conservative ideology is flawed and has never worked well anywhere in the world for the general population at large.
