Came across one in Beacon Falls. Cool road name.

Naugatuck State Forest is on the left.

More dips

Still on it after 15 minutes.

The end.

Lakeside Drive in Ridgefield. Was about 1.5 miles long.

Trees are bare on May 3rd.. Not sure what type they are..

Lots of potholes with standing water.

Oddly there are few in Windsor not even in a rural area, Baker Hollow rd and Old Poquonock rd. There is a surprising number still left in CT. Even more in Western Mass. But neither has anything on the interior of Maine some of those dirt roads go on for miles and miles.

Stratford off Sniffens Lane

Cool... but ....

Oh well.. backing up..

Just checked Google Maps... Hmmm, check out how it looked in 2011. Makes me question if this is the spot. I'm 99% sure! I guess they created the gravel road in the last 5 yrs

Without dirt roads, country music lyricists would develop career ending writers block.
