Live in Hamden, and I've put a considerable amount of effort into my lawn since moving in in 2010. Ive made excellent progress except this year my lawn started out great but has taken a nose dive since late Spring.

I do not want to put in an extreme amount of effort personally if I can help it anymore. A couple years ago I did try out a couple companies and they didn't really seem to tailor their program to the conditions of a home owners current lawn/soil/etc. So I quickly canceled.

Anyone know of a good lawn service company that seeds and maintains lawn needs? Not looking for a mowing service as I have no issues doing all that myself. Preferably a company that will really look at your lawn/soil and base what they do off of what your lawn actually needs instead of just one size fits all kinda job.

I found one that had a bunch of positive reviews. Turf Masters. I believe in inquired to them last time and they never got back to me. Tried them again this morning and still nothing. I don't get it. Do you not need or want new business?

I do not have any suggestions but in general I have found that good lawn care services are hard to come by and get in touch with. This is kind of true for most home services. Someone who is good and reliable will have more than enough work but others who are not as reliable are easier to get in touch with. Good luck, Jay
