Thanks a lot.

I will keep all that in mind. I receive Avalon's newsletter and they seem to do promotion pretty much all the time with first month free and/or even lower deposit, I'll try to take advantage of all!
I took a look at the property map and floor plans... by the shape of the apartment I can say for some of them where they might be but I cannot say where it is better to live within the development. For instance, in Avalon Norwalk they have 2 buildings with one pool, would it be cheaper to live in the building with no pool? To me, it means quieter so I'd like that... am I wrong?! What kind of location is to avoid?

Avalons are definitely nice--just note, that everyone I've known who has lived in them has had the same complaint: always being able to hear their neighbors. That comes along with living in a community, however. I don't believe it matters where you live in the community--the price includes the pool in the amenities. The size of your apartment and generally the floor is what is going to determine your lease price. If you want quieter, I would avoid any apartments by the main road location (if they have one.)

I just leased at the Waypointe...you could do a small one bedroom there for under 2K. It's shaping up to be an amazing community, but it is still under construction.

I have friends at the Corset Factory and Ironworks. You could find something in your budget in both of those. Both nice places, in good locations.

I did a lot of research before I moved down there....and have a lot of friends in the area, as well.

Oh also with your needing to take the train--are you going to have a car at all? Because if not, with the Avalon, I'm not sure if they have a train shuttle. They are far enough from the station that you would need to drive or take the bus.

WayPointe has a shuttle. Corset Factory, Ironworks, and 55/77 Jefferson (I think, on the latter) are close enough to walk to the station.

I don't want to commit to keeping track of real estate projects in Norwalk too, due to that I decided to post these photos here instead of creating a new thread that will most likely die from lack of updates. If a Mod feels that a thread dedicated to real estate projects in Norwalk is better, go ahead and use this post as the first one, but I will not commit to that one as I am with the Stamford projects thread.

In the two posts prior to this one, Stephy0519 mentions the Waypointe complex. These photos are of a month or so ago.
