Also, did you notice that the southbound Exit 14 ramp has been relocated now? It's right next to the REI store.

And also...did anyone notice that there's a homeless guy standing at the end of Exit 14 (northbound) every evening, begging for money, for like 3 months now?! It's so annoying. I don't even look at him. I just stop at the stop sign and continue driving. He got so pissed today that I never even acknowledged that he was there, so he dropped his sign and made a big gesture with his arms wide out as if he was saying (YO....do you even notice me?!).

Screw him. I don't believe in giving people money on the street like that. That's the government's job, not mine. And that's why I voted for Malloy.

Lol, really? Someone tell me this is a joke.

I'm actually at a loss for words.

Well duh. The role of government is to protect the people. That includes homeless. They should be protected from starvation and lack of shelter. There are plenty of soup kitchens and homeless shelters everywhere. Why can't he just go to one of those? Sounds a lot better than standing at the end of Exit 14 everyday in the cold begging for money.

Begging for drug/liquor money. They don't provide that at the soup kitchen or shelter.

The most amazing feature of this photo is the gas prices sign.

$0.41 per gallon > than the national average.

We pay up the nose..and for WHAT?

Granted, its not as bad on the other side of the state (~$3.10 per gallon), but still significantly higher than the national average.

There are pockets of the state where gas is BELOW the national average. Like on the Berlin Tpk. in Berlin and Newington. Or, Washington St. in Middletown.

I paid $2.97 in Wallingford this past weekend. National average is $2.92. Y'all are getting hosed in Fairfield County.
