Courant.com is reporting Foley ahead 55% - 43% with 6% counted...doesn't look good for Malloy unless these 6% are SW FFC only

why is that not good? usually the smaller towns report their results first as they have fewer votes to count, and those towns went heavily for Foley in 2010 and likely went that way again. The cities and more densely populated areas typically report last.

I think Litchfield County is the most Republican county in the state as well?

I'd love to see Malloy booted, but don't see it happening. This state is too damn blue and it'll stay that way. Nit that Foley is great but I was ready for a non-Obama lover to be governor at least.

The one thing about CT is that you can expect a lot of fluctuation in the numbers based on the areas of the state reporting in. Just like our micro climates we have micro politics and each town and zone can be wildly different.

Most larger cities go to the democrat that is a fact. I'll just keep refreshing for now.

Also where is the Courant getting there counts, google and other sites seem to not be in agreeable.
