It could. As soon as Democrats control 100% of seats, and there are no opponents-- Govt then will do everything.

First off: I plan to give a big "F" you Malloy shoutout on my FB page. And then maybe reassess and pack bags? Kind of glad for being an outsider right about now. Definitely wouldn't like have to be faced with choosing between CT family, and just CT "the state" (which seems to ultimately be the driving force in keeping people here!) So sad honestly, because when we first moved here almost 20 years ago, it was such a awesome and refreshing change of pace from everything awful, bad, evil and corrupt in NY. Now it's just the same and equally as ****ty -- smaller scale of course, though

NEP: "Cutting spending and austerity doesn't work. You have to realize that my spending is your income and your spending is my income."

I truly confess I am completely baffled by this statement. The only possible conclusion I can reach where this statement might be less than 100% wrong would be that you work for government.

I respectfully ask you to please explain this train of thought, maybe not on this thread at this time, but I will wait with bated breath to hear a reply. Thank you in advance.

In FFC and Hartford, Malloy's lead is less than 2 points with avg 34% reporting. I guess suburbia and exurbia are counterweights to the ****hole cities where Dems dominate.

Anybody catch the interview with one of the Hartford registrars of voters? Unrepentant and unapologetic for the mess they created this morning.

NYT/AP and Courant/ Reuters are coming close to each other -- 48-49 % reporting. Malloy trails by 1-1.5

I hear ya. Regardless of the results of this or any election we are voting with our feet. No matter what politician is in office, the best CT will see is to "not get any worse" and it's already bad enough for our taste. We were hoping to move by this spring, but I got into a really good grad school program that will keep me here another 2 years unless I can transfer.

I have been offered jobs out of state by former management/directors that have already left my company/CT for greener pastures. They will continue to keep me posted on jobs as well has hire me the day I graduate. Can. Not. Wait.
