Brian: you are posting wholesale prices. Retail is roughly $0.50 higher. $2.06 is the lowest cash delivery in the state as of this week.

You are correct. I should have stated that. Yes wholesale prices. Its under $2 a gallon from many dealers here in the vicinity of New Haven CT where the terminal is.

If you live in East Haven, West Haven, New Haven, North Haven etc oil seems to be way cheaper as they don't have to transport it far from the terminal and there is a ton of competiion.

My friend said he got that price in East Haven from a family fuel dealer so probably discounted.

Still its available for under $2 a gallon retail in the New Haven area.

If I have money I will buy a 10000000000 gallon storage tank to store enough oil to last a lifetime right now

Can't believe we were in the $90s just 1 yr ago. On top of that I cant believe it will be over 11 yrs since we been this low (if drops below $42)

As Brian said.. Won't stop me from using firewood for heat. Still saving >$800 a yr.

Screw oil.

Working on the Firewood for Winter 2016-17. Yes... that's not a typo. Mostly Red Oak in back and on right. Maple in front left.

Just finished stacking the 2 rows on the right, the rest of the logs should complete the 2nd row. Smell of Oak is awesome.
