I'm not sure Darien is my cup of tea. I'm more laid back and enjoy the country side

Armyvet1 is not poor or unskilled but I do believe that Darien would be above the limits of my 105k a year in annual earnings. I hear Darien is for the uber affluent. I would be happy to come visit the town for a day or two but do not see myself as a full time resident.

Better have over a million for a house in Darien. I can't tell if that post was sarcastic or not.

If I had a few million I would buy an old New England farm house with the colonial porch, get some horses, a new Dodge Truck, and start a Christmas Tree farm on my land. Every Christmas ya'll could come over to Armyvet1's old as dirt farmhouse, 10 dollar Christmas trees, sleigh rides through the farm, and all the free hot cocoa and cookies you could ever imagine.

Darein is definitely NOT what Armyvet is looking for. Sarcasim does not play well over the internet. Jay

Greenwich is great but Darien and New Canaan are equally prestigious. They are smaller towns and a little less diverse but very nice and very expensive. Jay.
