If if were treated like that in my job (Thank GOD I'm not!), I'd give em 2 weeks notice and not look back! At least they are more dependent on you than the other way around as was demonstrated last summer

I'm praying that NO ONE shows up there tomorrow. That is the BEST way to send a message!

I had a friend who was (and still is) really into cars - loves to do all his own repairs & maintenance, and often buys old cars to see how long he can run them. Many years back, he decided to get a job selling cars. He said he got suspicious right away when he asked the staff how long they had been there, and everybody quoted him the number of weeks they had been there. Nobody used months or years to describe their tenure with the auto dealer. Needless to say, it was a horrible place to work.

There are a lot more factors at play when having a job, rather than a Snow Day. If they paid you enough, or you had no better options, or whatever -- you would go to work too, come hell or high water.

Nothing extremely heavy out there. Band over NYC/Long Island just sitting there. Steady as it goes. Other band over the Atlantic and Nantucket is moderate snows and curling inbound. New London County should see intensity pick up soon.

Cam - what are the models now predicting for total snow across CT? Sometimes, those multi-colored maps are kind of hard to read to me.

Thanks

I concur and most people that are required to be on site tomorrow are already in a hotel right now. One thing with Wall St is that while they may be impacted by bad weather OTHER financial markets are not and are still open. Wall St (and by extension the United States) would be at a disadvantage if they had to close during bad weather.

If the curfew is lifted, if roads are plowed, if you can get out, and if they call you in --- then you go in. Men go to work, boys play.

It's all over the place as far as where the mesoscale banding takes place(ie 3 feet+ amounts). We don't know. 15-30 is a good bet for CT
