This is just a "what if"- a 1000 sq ft basic square 1 floor home. Would anyone have any real world idea as to a basic lift to 10' up. Any recommendations if needed? Thanks very much- Mark

Wild guess, but $50k?

Basing that off what others have paid to lift larger homes.

Mark, my family did this last year to a 1400 sq ft beach home on the CT shoreline. It's tough to give you a cost as it depends on a lot. How many doors, garage, basement or slab? For the actual LIFT, I think it was about 20k. I think it was another 20k to install the frame and build stairs. Everything else is extra. You're responsible for removing any plumbing or ductwork, shrubbery, fences, etc, and disconnecting all utilities beforehand (we were, at least).

For a 1k square foot home, I think you'll be looking at 50k easily.
