Default Public Pre-K in Fairfield County?

Anyone knows whether there are public pre-k programs in any towns within fairfield county? Thanks!

I'm fairly certain that Stamford has one.

how about the town of fairfield?
also how does this work -- if a town has a school that offers pre-k, then any kid living in this town can go there, right? he/she doesn't have to be living in the area which that particular school covers? or does he?

I believe that there is a program in Fairfield. You should contact the Board of Education to see what is offered. Not sure the program is open to everyone though. Jay
