Downtown North Construction In Progress

I was around the corner from work today and i thought to stop by the ongoing Hartford Downtown North Development Project. I saw many land surveyors and construction workers in and around the site. I decided to open up a new thread relating to the Downtown North project and i will be uploading more pictures every few weeks or so. For those who live in Connecticut and are unable to see the site, i will post pictures here. We will see much more progress within the next few weeks. They have made good progress so far.

April 14th, 2015
This is the only part of Downtown North under construction right now. The area next to the Ramada hotel has not begun construction yet, though there are a few mounds of dirt over there. I forgot to take pictures of that site. These pictures however are across the street. I'm not sure whats going up here but again within the few weeks we will see it begin to take shape.

Probably the base ball stadium.

My initial reaction was that it was the baseball stadium. If you look at the 3rd picture you see these 4 giant pillars. Maybe that's where the scoreboard will go? I'm not a construction fanatic but I try to be haha. I thought the baseball stadium was going to be built next to the Ramada? Though I could be wrong but after looking at various models I can guarantee this isn't the baseball stadium. Maybe the brewery?

Those either could be the entrance to the park or the foundations for seating. Def is the baseball stadium.

I actually just looked at the new renderings. You're right. The stadium is facing towards the river so those pillars were across from where the seats are being built. Unless there are seats in the outfield. The Interesting thing is that it's being built on a small hill so they have to level out the land before they start building.
