i would so much rather live in ct than texas. CT has excellent schools, private schools, in between Boston and NYC, and just a better quality of living.

Couldn't disagree more.

Texas has horrible schools, tolerance for hate crimes, an ugly landscape and bad weather. Connecticut's schools are top notch, zero tolerance and open minds, a beautiful landscape of gently rolling hills, stone walls and leafy streets, and four distinct seasons.

Does Texas have any more GW Bush types hanging about?
As far as Texas being a better places to live- on just about every quality of life measurement Connecticut rates far higher.

Good Lord...stop reading the Boston Globe to form opinions about CT.

It's more like "rich boomers, "urban" thugs, or frumpy working class (Think butt crack showing plumber with wrinkled clothes and 3 day old beard) types with smatterings of traditional working class folks tossed in here and there".
