Default East Rock Section - Please Help!

Hello Friends I am seeing a new four unit complex on Foster Street in East Rock Section this is the listing: New Construction in East Rock! (broken link)

Can someone give me advice on the area - Safe? Seems close to downtown but I guess not to familiar with that area not sure what to expect.

Wow, that's a great area from what I've heard and seen. Driven through a couple of times and it is a stellar area to live. The best in New Haven--most would probably say, or top 2 or 3. I'm searching for an investment home in New Haven, and if my budget was up there, I'd buy in East Rock first and foremost. I am looking at a 2 family home in Cedar Hills, just past the park to the east of East Rock. Westville, downtown/Yale, and East Rock are consistently named as New Haven's best neighborhoods. For the feed back going to see the 4 units today I get the pick of the crop! They range from 1700 to 2000 a month i get to pick the Granddaddy unit
