I am moving from VA Beach to Vernon, CT and will be traveling by way of route 13 up the Eastern Shore of VA through MD, DE, NJ Turnpike, NY and to CT. I will be driving a 17 foot UHAUL along with a truck pulling a trailer. I was wondering if anyone knows if any of the tolls will not allow trucks/trailers to fit through the tolls going up there and if so, is there an alternate route.

Thank you!

If you have AAA, you might be able to ask them. There are no tolls anymore in Connecticut - at least for now.

Welcome to Connecticut.

Once on NJ Turnpike it should be the only toll road and GW bridge and you won't have any problems fitting - they are all set up for tractor/trailers. If you weren't so far East I'd suggest cutting over to 81 then taking 84 into CT - much nicer driving conditions - 95 is horrible road - but it will probably add too many miles to your trip. Good luck with the drive and with CT.
