Hi All,

New to the site. I'm planning on moving from Queens and into the Stamford area or any of the surrounding towns or counties. I am looking to purchase a condo but am unfamiliar with the area and would like to stay within reasonable driving distance to NYC. Can someone please provide some towns/counties that I would benefit from? Not only as a good location but as an investment as well.

I am single and in my early 30's and looking to purchase a condo up to $250K...if this information helps.

Thanks!

Stamford is a nice city to live- and should be given consideration. Home prices will be high- and at 250K you might be able to find a 1 bedroom condo.

Towns surrounding Stamford are likely to be prohibitively expensive. Towns of more reasonable cost will likely be a further commute then you might be willing to consider.

Also check into Norwalk and possibly bridgeport. you won't find a lot in other towns for your price. Jay
