Hello all,

My guy currently has a job at EB in New London. We're both young professionals. We both love the apartment we're in, Crocker House; but we're thinking of maybe looking into some options that are historically similar, and a lot less expensive. Most of the options are in Norwich. New London is cool, and we both like it. But parts seem to be pretty depressing. Would anyone recommend Norwich over New London?
All we both know is that Norwich has an ice rink, and some apartments we like!

Thanks!

I honestly don't think Norwich is less "depressing" than New London. They both have good and bad areas. The one thing New London has that Norwich does not is the water. Being on the coast, New London has beaches which Norwich does not offer. Whether that is important to you or not is your decision but it is likely the reason New London is more expensive. Since you are renting you can try it for a year and see if you like Norwich but that is something only you and your BF can decide. Jay

Check out Waterford/Niantic area. Plus about New London is being near the best part of the state Mystic/Stonington with some good eats, attractions, best beaches in the state, Bluff Point, and shop's.
