I believe so. New London is amazing. The greatest Thai restaurant in the State is in New London. The Restaurant Row area is amazing. The train and ferry station area is beautiful.

The City needs just a few tweaks.

Think a board walk area and greenway be great. More local stores growth in New London. Maybe a outdoor shopping mall in New London.

New apartment complexes are starting up.

Hopefully improve upon public universities in the area. It is the only City that lacks a public university though surrounded by 2 private colleges and 1 Military Academy. Also do believe UCONN has a Satellite Campus.

If ECSU could expand make a Satellite Campus in Norwich it be a bonus for the area.

About 10-15 years ago my girlfriend at the time was at Connecticut College, so we spent some time around New London, etc.

There was an incredible Italian restaurant that had a handful of tables. The chef was an older Italian woman who made everything from scratch and it took about 1.5-2 hours to get your food, if I recall, but it was amazing. Is that still around?
