Live Local Search
Here is a satelite view of where you will be living. Just zoom in on the location and then hit "birds eye view" to see a pic of your building/unit
Looks like a decent area to me, though i dont know TONS about wethersfield.

Felicia151 - I have a friend that lived in the next complex over (Tabshey Court) for years. This area is safe and convenient. There is a major supermarket down the street one way and buses into hartford the other (on Wolcott Hill Road). I believe the complex you are looking at is an older "garden apartment" style community. Be aware that the complex backs up to Route 5/15 which is a busy highway that connects the Berlin Turnpike to I-91 and the charter Oak Bridge. While there is a small wooded buffer between the highway and the complex, you may want to make sure the apartment is not too noisy for you. Good luck, Jay

Hello, have lots of family in Wethersfield. Great town and I know exactly where this apartment complex is. Its in a mostly residential neighborhood (1 office building and 1 assisted living complex I beleive are nearby). You are close to the Silas Deane Highway and Berlin Turnpike / Route 5/15 for all your shopping needs.
Also you will be on the northern end of town making your commute into downtown Hartford a lot easier.

Fairway Drive apts.
I live in those apartments on Fairway Drive. The grounds are nice to walk, nice big courtyards. The highway is noisy, especially in the winter without the leaf covering, but I'm in the courtyard closest to the highway. I have an end unit townhouse, so I don't have people living above or below me, so I can't comment on the neighbors. Although it's Wethersfield, it's right on the Hartford line, so you get a bit of the "cultural diversity" spilling over from Hartford, unfortunately. That being said, it's very safe, never a problem security-wise.
